Official Slap Your Irritating Co-workers Holiday

Today is the official Slap Your Irritating Co-workers Holiday: Do you have a co-worker who talks nonstop about nothing, working your last nerve with tedious and boring details that you don't care about? Do you have a co-worker who ALWAYS screws up stuff creating MORE work for you? Do you have a co-worker who kisses so much booty, you can look in their mouth and see what your boss had for lunch? Do you have a co-worker who is SOOO obnoxious, when he/she enters a room, everyone else clears it? Well, on behalf of Ike Turner, I am so very very glad to officially announce today as SLAP YOUR IRRITATING CO-WORKER DAY!
There are the rules you must follow:

* You can only slap one person per hour! - no more.

* You can slap the same person again if they irritate you again in the same day.

* You are allowed to hold someone down as other co-workers take their turns slapping the irritant.

* No weapons are allowed...other than going upside somebody's head with a stapler or a hole-puncher.

* If questioned by a supervisor [or police, if the supervisor is the irritant], you are allowed to LIE, LIE, LIE!

* And remember, if you're not annoyed by anyone, you may be the offender.

So, watch out!

Now, study the rules, break out your list of folks that you want to slap the living day lights out of and get your slapping moves perfected .....and have a greeat day !

Well let's see here.... I work a four hour shift... and I only have three co-workers here to choose from.... I guess somebody's getting a double dose!

Time to flip a coin and see who the lucky winner is....

Hey guys...

I like to have fun, everyone does, I don't like to play Moderator... and I don't like to dampen everyone's fun by throwing a wet towel on a thread like this, but the last thing I want to see is for this thread to spin out of control.

Instead of closing or deleting this thread, which is something we don't practice on this forum unless rules have been broken and as far as I can see there are not any rules that address topics like this.

Mike, all I have to add (for those out there who may be less able to percieve the finer points of written communication):

IT'S A JOKE!!

Common sense would tell you that acting on any desires to mame or otherwise assault anyone is a prisonable offense. Though there's no denying, some people are just plain annoying.

Yep... I know this, but I'm still held accountable for everything that exists on this forum. So my radar screen is set to a pretty sensitive threshold. If you re-read what I posted above, you'll see that I wrote that I didn't like posting what I posted for the reasons I just embellished on.

I'm not disputing that at all, Mike -- my reply was more for the benefit of those folks who might find something offensive, without considering that perhaps it is merely a joke.

I definitely can and do appreciate/respect that this forum is a direct reflection on Meguiar's, Inc. - You have to do what you have to do.

Oh shucks, I missed it! Had I seen this thread yesterday, which was the "official" holiday, I would have gone into the office and maybe just flicked an ear or two!

Lucky me though, I got to work from home so I could have lunch with my wife and have my pooch laying at my feet all day while got reports done. Sort of gets you out of the slapping/ear flicking mood, ya know?
