OK I've gotta go wash and polish a car, it's been pouring with rain here but there is a window now ..............will it last I doubt it

So, the question is, any tips for washing/polishing cars in the pouring rain

I've never washed a car in the rain, but some do.

I guess the trick is to bring it inside of a garage and dry it off quickly.

Oh and this one can't go in the garage cause my car is in there..........where it's staying

I wish I had a huge garage with a tall roof, ac and well lit up. It'd be way to hot in my garage to do anything. Car care in the fall is the best in Arizona. I'd actually be able to wash a car in during the day instead of waking up 4:30 to 5:00 in the morning like I've been doing over the summer.

My thoughts exactly! It has been way too hot and humid here to do any major detailing. The major stuff will have to wait until fall. For now, it is weekly washing, and lots of NXT Speed Detailer. I do some panels with NXT Paste as necessary.

Granted, it is not as hot in Indiana as it is out in Arizona, but we have humidity that has been unbelievable! Last year we had 0 90 degree days, but this year we have had 17 90 degree days and lots of thunderstorms. Fortunately with the NXT Paste, rainwater rolls right off the paint and the car looks amazingly clean.

I'm going to Vegas in October. Am I going to roast on my trip?

A/C for the garage is on my wish list too!
