That is what it is all about.

When you make people take off their shoes and put on a hairnet before you allow them to enter your car.

...when you find yourself yelling at family members when they don't keep there car clean

...when you look an expensive car that has been neglected and you think what a waste of money

...when you find yourself yelling at you wife when she does not keep the inside of the car clean 2 days after you have just cleaned it.

..when 2 coats of wax is just not enough.

...when you tape off your hood in sections to test which wax looks and protects better

You won't let your wife wash the microfiber towells because she might get lint on them.

You park in an isolated spot in the parking lot, and on the way in as you pass all the other cars under the sun you cringe with the swirl marks on the hood. You almost go up close to do a full surface analysis to look for other defects such as bonded contaminants, but change your mind at the last minute as you see the people coming out of the store staring at you in a weird manner. While shopping in the store, you can't stop thinking about how nice some of those cars could look with a full day's worth of detailing.

I just found myself doing this with a Boxster that was in the parking lot at work. It was terriable. The funny thing was that the license plate frame was from a place called The Last Detail. I will not be taking my car there.

... when, no matter where you're shopping or how recently you were last there, you always stop in the car care isle to check out the detailing products.

1.You can never do a quick "express wash" to the vehicle. Whenever you feel the need to clean it, you do whatever you think is necessary no matter how long it will take.

                      2. You cringe when you see your neighbors washing their car, following with a quick coat of wax. No preparation is done to make sure that all contaminants and defects are removed. You can't help thinking how rough the surface will feel even with the coat of basic wax.

                            Detail Freak

When you have guests, you pull out the rotary, swirl remover and diamond cut and start removing scratches and swirls from their cars.

While driving, you got to extreme lengts in order to keep the car clear of water-puddles on the road. And you almost start crying when meeting a truck, trailing a cloud of road-dust behind.

When you start giving Meguiar's gift boxes and car-care products to you friends and family for christmas and birthdays.
