The insurance company called me today, they're going to total the Aerio
The Kelly Blue Book Value is ~$1,700 and they are going to give me a bit over $3,700 and pay the taxes on the next car I buy. I've already talked to a good lawyer and being as it's just property damage, I'm pretty much stuck
They want me to give over the title to the Aerio by this Tuesday (12/22/2015) and are being "generous" enough to extend my rental to the end of the month to give me time to buy another car.
What really burns my biscuits is that I had an immaculate almost 10 year old car that ran great and it was paid off. Now because of a drunk, I'm going to have to have car payments that I really can't afford, and I really doubt I'll be able to get what I want in a car. All I'm asking for is a manual trans, a 6-disc in dash CD player and decent on gas because that's what I had until the lady lush smacked me
