Greg mentioned a Meguiar's calendar. Although it was intended as an excellent (and deserved) compliment to a poster, was there or is there a Meguiar's calendar? One of MOL members cars?
If not, could we make our own? Moderators, I'm sure something like this can get very competitive, perhaps too competitive, but I might suggest these draft guidelines:
MOL members may post up to three photos of their OWN vehicle (cars, trucks, corn planters, airplanes, trains, RVs, motorcyles, etc).
The car must be detailed with a majority of Meguiar's products.
The photo should include a landmark or famous place within 200 miles of the member's home or business.
Some photoshopping is permitted (car and scenery must be real).
NO advertising for a detailing service in the photos.
Family friendly along MOL guidelines.
A brief, up to, 200 word description of where the photo was taken, products used.
Photos would be posted in a "shared" show off your latest detail discussion thread.
NO Voting - keep it non-competitive.
I'm new here. Has this been done before or perhaps banned before? I have a feeling as I type this, that it's been done already. What is the link?
