  • Wanna see something funny?

These are just SOME of the pads I'm getting rid of! These are just the more worn out pads, I've still got at least another bag like this of newer pads I'll be getting rid of LOL!!

That is a Chevy 1 TON van that 42 gallon trash bag is leaning up against!

      I thought it was funny

It's also a sign of the changing times, out with the old, in with the new!

Wish you'd told me to cash in my shares in Foam Corp before you made this public Nick!

On the flip side, I have a feeling my new investment, Microfibre Industries, may be about to pay off...

Find a new use for them! Tire dressing applicators? Lots of them? haha

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

          I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
          Remove swirls my friends.

I would have kept them for polishing metal or a messy job that ruins pads.

Now that is funny Nick . How many cars do you detail?

Also how many spare pads do you have for the other jobs tyre dressings/metal parts? Now that would be funny to hear. Let me guess another bag the same size

I'm loving your beetle . You cant beat the old classics? What's she running?

I detail quite a few cars per month. This was supposed to be a side business(part time) when I started this many years ago, but has ended up being more hours than my full time job lol!

These are just the pads I'm getting rid of. I have so much more that I'm keeping. I have pads for wheels, tires, wheel wells. You name it, and I have pads for it lol! It's a disease

The bug is a 70,000 mile, all original car. Still running the original 1200cc motor! It's a massive 40hp beast! I absolutely love driving that car, although it hurts my back to drive it too much, I just can't seem to let it go. Turning 40 this year, I've always been a car guy. I've had 700hp monster street cars, Nova's, C10 trucks, Camaro's, etc... This Bug is BY FAR my absolute favorite vehicle I've ever owned! I don't know what it is about it, I just like it.

                        Re: Wanna see something funny?

Same here Nick, I detail on a part time basis. Now the weather is getting a bit better in the UK I seem to have a fair bit of work from April.

I have been considering detailing full time but need a regular income. So I do both.

As for your baby. I like very much . Pleased to hear its still a classic and running the original engine. Do you show it?

I seem to remember seeing a fair few with Porsche engines fitted here in the UK

Show it? No, not at all. This is purely for my enjoyment, 100% of the time

Actually, come to think of it, I don't ever remember showing any vehicle I've ever owned. I enjoy car shows a great deal, but I guess I don't enjoy showing my own. Never really thought about it to tell you the truth. That kind of stuff just does nothing for me I guess.
