    Tinted my windows

    I've actually been thinking about tinting my windows for 1 and 1/2 to 2 years now, and I finally went ahead and did it. I started a thread on MOL in August 2009 (Should I tint my windows? - Car Care Forums: Meguiar's Online), and the response was pretty much in agreement that I should. Been putting it off, but I finally had it done on Friday. I like it - it just seems to add something. Also went ahead and did a wash and wax today:

    Wash with CG Citrus Wash, 2BM, microfiber chenille mitt
    Clay with Pinnacle Ultra Poly Clay and DP Clay Lube
    Wash again
    Glaze with Meguiar's Ultimate Polish
    Wax with Meguiar's Ultimate Wax
    Diamondite Poli-Shield on exterior glass
    DP tire gel on tires
    CG Black on Black in front wells, cheap tire shine in rear wells

        I think it's a very nice product. A bit streaky, but there seems to be a slight learning curve that I just haven't picked up on yet. Sure smells nice at any rate.

        No, actually I had a guy I know who is a professional do it. He's actually mobile, but he does really good work, and he stands behind his work for as long as you own the car, so that was another plus for me. Took him about five hours to do. Cost me $191 something with tax; it was definitely worth it though, IMO. I really don't know why I didn't do it sooner.
