Nick, if you paid via PayPal, I think they have a resolution process to safeguard your purchase.

Unfortunately, it was my mistake. Paypal defaults to "gift" when sending money that isn't related to an auction or something. Anyhow, I didn't check the "goods" box, so Paypal basically said "Oh well, sorry" when I emailed them

Not sure how Stoops paid, but I'm personally at the mercy of the seller on this deal. My mistake, won't EVER happen again!

Not much, but it's the point of the fact now. A thief is a thief! Doesn't matter if it's for $5 or $5000. And I can't stand a thief!

draperd's communication was fantastic right up to the point when we sent the money - then nothing.

I haven't had a chance to contact PayPal yet but will this evening as most recent PMs and emails to draperd have fallen on deaf ears.

If this guy was having personal issues he should of at least let you guys know something. But no communication??? Hopefully this doesn't drag out much longer.

My dispute through PayPal has been escalated to a claim, but he has not responded to anything via PayPal.

For the time being, however, we're going to close this thread so as to avoid any unnecessary negative comments until we know for absolute certainty what has happened here. This is a public forum, after all, and accusation without proof is really something that we should avoid. We all know how it looks, but that alone is not proof of any sort of intent.
