Hey all,
For my senior project I decided to do a small business plan even though I'm not really into the whole "entrepreneurship" thing.
Being a car nut and really into detailing, I decided that my plan will be for a small auto detail business. Something bigger than a mobile business, but no huge franchise or anything. Think 2 to 3 bay gas station turned into a detail shop with maybe 2 or three employees besides myself. Realistically, I would start a mobile unit and then expand my business from there, but for this project I will assume the business is already successful and I'm ready to move into a fixed location.
Anyway, I'm working on the financial part of the project and it is really hard to find the information I need for this type of business. Would any of you who have your own detailing business be willing to show me some financial data I can use as a refference? Also, any numbers you would be willing to share would be appreciated. (For example, how much is insurance, etc...) I can make up some of my own numbers, but it would help to see some balance sheets, income statements, etc...
