How does 3M detailing products compare to Meguiers? I know alot of auto body places that use there finishing prodcts after painting and they work pretty well. Does Meguiers have anything like that?

Meguiar's has a very wide range of products in our Mirror Glaze Professional line. These are all the numbered products in the tan bottles that are, for the most part, body shop safe products. Check out http://www.meguiars.com/estore/product_list.cfm and click on the "Professional (Mirror Glaze)" link on the left side to expand the navigation tree for the full range of products.
In the world of the body shop industry Meguiar's and 3M are fierce competitors and have been for decades. When Meguiar's was founded back in 1901 we were a furniture care company, really. But that soon expanded to the automotive industry, but only in pro environments - in the factories where the cars were built, body shops, etc. We didn't have a consumer product until 1973 as everything we did was on the pro side prior to that.
So, yeah, we've got some experience in that area.

Ok, well I was looking at getting started with some Autobody work(as just a hobby and whatnot) and I know that these:

I have seen all over in various shops and what not. So Meguiars Professional line would make products comperable to that. I am familar with Meg's products I just didnt know if this was in another league or what.Comment
