Who has used Alpine products in their car? (espically HU's) are they good. i just got a CDA-105...i hope i like it..its getting installed today @ 11:30...any reviews or stories to tell?

I have been installing radios for friends and family for about 15 years. Anytime I make a recomendation its ALWAYS Alpine! I have never had any trouble with Alpine, from the lowest model to their top of the line products they are excellent in every respect. I have installed everything from Pioneer to Kenwood to Clarion and Alpine by far is my favorite car stereo MFG.Drive her Fast but Wax her slowComment

I have had Alpine products since my first tape deck in 1992. And to me are the best sounding consumer stereo products out there. The only thing is never to buy a first generation product they make (there is always some necessary oddball feature that makes it into the 2nd and 3rd generations).TrevorComment

I just got home from the audio shop...i had them wire my 4 channel the correct way...and i got the Alpine HU put in...all i can say is WOW!!! a 4 channel amp and a good HU makes my speakers sound 161651531651616 times better! its great. and the HU charges my ipod! its freaking great! im in love with it...sound quality is top notch..i think all audio pros can agree with that...ALPINE = AMAZING!!!Comment

I've tried different brands and always found my way back to Alpine from head units to amplifiers. My current setup consists of a CDA-9885,Rockford Fosgate Punch 550.2 and 450.4 with boston Acoustic and JL Audio drivers. I've never met an Alpine hu I didn't like.Comment

I have an Alpine stereo in my car. Love it! I've had it for a few years with no issues. Wouldn't mind having some Alpine speakers though.Shane

yea. im really happy with my system...all i want to do to finish it off is some good tweeters and the bluetooth module. Im really happy though. I also whis my Kenwood Class D amp was a lil bit quieter. To cool itself it uses to fans but they are a lil loud..idk, im just pickey. overall i would def buy another one
BUT WHY DOES IT SEEM LIKE MY CAR ACCELATERATES SLOWER?
is this tru becasue of the two medium size amps draw a good bit of power or is it just my head?Comment

Alpine stuff is probably my favorite pick for car audio equipment. Just last year I installed one of their HUs in my uncle's C5 'vette, and it made a HUGE improvement in sound quality over the stock unit, even just driving the stock Bose speakers.Comment
