Was at Target today and came across a fantastic deal on Turtle Wax Ultra Wet tire shine and bought out all stock. They put it on clearance for $2.50 and at that price you just can't go wrong. I've never tried it but it definitely has a nice consistency to it, and not just watery like some cheap stuff out there... So anyways, for anyone who is interested go check it out, you never know it may be applicable for all Target stores or at least in the NY/Tri-State area.

I try and stay with Meguiars products, but I may buy some just to dress certain wheelwells with.

Exactly why i bought the stuff, to liberally use on other cars and definitely the wheel wells.

I don't know about you, but most of my customers don't know or care about what products I use, even though I advertise it....

..If you want a good laugh, just turn the bottle around and on the back it says that it lasts for "several weeks"!

Is it disrespectful to come onto Meguiar's site and advertise a Turtle Wax product that you found on sale? I'm all for finding deals, but there are a plethora of other detailing sites for this info.

I've seen that being done here before. Once you go Meguiar's, you don't go to any other brand. My post is definitely not going to sway Meguiar's loyal customers. I'm sorry you feel this way. Just like I mentioned in my OP, even if this Turtle Wax was given out free i still elect to use my Meguiar's. Talk to a moderator and delete the thread, i have no objections.

No hard feelings. I feel the need to let everyone know of the deals I find also. But this being a website paid for by Meguiar's, ran by Meguiar's employees, and visited by Meguiar's enthusiasts, just don't think it's acceptable to advertise the competitions sale items here. That potentially takes money out of Meguiar's pockets.

No sense beating a dead horse, I know you meant no harm by posting this, and I'm not trying to get on your case about it. I guess we just see differently when it comes to things like this. No harm

I just did a calculation that if you bought a gallon of Hyper Dressing at 25% off (which it is on sale this week) and diluted it 1:1, it would cost just less than 12.5 cents per ounce. So assuming the Turtle wax is 18 ounces, the same amount of Hyper Dressing 1:1 would cost $2.25 when bought this way.

Anyway, nothing wrong with giving people a heads up on a good deal on anything, but at the same time, brand loyalty for Meguiars tends to be pretty strong here too.

I see people posting good deals on non-Meguiars microfibers all the time, even though Meguiars makes 2 good ones.
