Hmm, that is pointless. I would recommend then to get a machine with the 1080 screen, no BR player, and then upgrade in the future. That's probably your most efficient course of action.

Well.. I did it... went with the HP dv6, basically the smaller size of CC posted, but same specs. No Blu-Ray or 1080, spent the extra on an extra 12cell battery and charger, and ram.
I guess we'll see... at least a bottle of wax only puts me out $20 if I dont like it. But I am sure this will be solid.
Thanks for all the help guys, seems like all the options kept pushing towards HP, and at least everyone has had decent experiences. Using an older HP desktop at the moment, and it has been good.
Think I'll just pick up one of those cooling fan mats to use with it, and hoepfully that will be all I need. See if I like my current bag with it or not.
12 cell battery FTW bud! If you want a cooling mat, I think I actually have two of them, lol. If you want one later, I'll try and find the extra one and you can have it for shipping (obviously if shipping is cheaper than just buying one).
I have 2 Targus ones. I've been using their stuff for years and never had an issue with any of it. Good in my book, not expensive either. I suppose any should do really.
