I submitted my resume last week to a marketing firm/group in Sacramento. I got a phone call at my house Tuesday night asking me to come in for an interview. I ended up going in yesterday before my final at school. It was one of three possible interviews I found out. A get to know me, get to know the company interview. I was told if all went well, I would get a call back to set up the second, "all day" interview in which we'd go over the job and such, and then sit-in on a meeting. I left the office at about 1PM with a feeling it went very well.
I got a phone call 3.5 hours later (about 2 minutes after finishing my final) from HR saying that the branch owner, who I was interviewed by, was very impressed with me and wanted me to come back Monday morning for the second interview!
I really, really hope this works out. I am nearing the end of school so this could be the start that I need to get where I want to go! The job, from my understanding, is being trained to eventually be able to open up a branch elsewhere to further the "reach" of the company, so to speak.

I'm going to do what I did for the first one. Walk in there standing tall with a smile on and put forth 110%. I'm ready to do what it takes to get this job, I just can't wait for it all to be over, hopefully it ending with me having a job there.
