Re: The $1.5 million buff out
Oh boy... But even that can't come close to crashing one of these. Imagine that, the government couldn't even sue you because you'd never be able to pay them 1.3 billion dollars in your entire life.-HealthyCivic

Re: The $1.5 million buff out
Wow!! Now what I want to know is that the driver was driving around in a 2 million.....2,000,000 (look at all those zeros!) supercar.....what exactly was he distracted by??
Oddly enough I feel no pity for the guy, the car on the other hand.....
I'd really would hate to see what his insurance premiums are gonna be after this.....now that would be a distraction!!For those who fought for it, freedom has a flavor the protected will never know.

Stay in the know with the top stories of the day. Get all the latest Harrisburg, Lancaster and York news, weather and sports from the WGAL News Team.
It appears that he was distracted by a BIRD.......and then dropped his cell phone from the floor......
Not to self for the next time.....hit the bird and don't bother with the phone!!For those who fought for it, freedom has a flavor the protected will never know.

Re: The $1.5 million buff out
Thats truly sad. I guess not everyone understands what that car is and yes, its worth 2 million although I always heard it sells for 1 million.
It has 1,000hp. Pretty sure they would fix that thing though. It has a maintenance at 60k miles that requires the car be split in half. Not sure what that maintenance is for that requires that but Im sure its nothing to break down a car like that and fix it after something like that happened.
Kills me that guy put a chain around that rim and dragged it out. I cant remember how much a set of rims costs but its more than Ill ever make in a year. The tires alone cost around $25000 per set. It has a W16 engine with 4 turbos and like 12 cooling radiators(no joke). Its truly a beast.Current Jeep: 2004 Jeep Liberty with stuff

Re: The $1.5 million buff out
Someone caught the "accident" on video.
Remember the amazing $1.6 million Bugatti Veyron lake crash blamed on a low-flying pelican? We have the video of it happening and there's not a freaking pelican in sight. UPDATE: The driver responds!
It's getting interesting for Andy the "owner".

Re: The $1.5 million buff out
After watching the video, its amazing how they driver is about to crash his gazillion dollar car into a lake yet makes no attempt at recovering. There is no evasive action taken at all. Just a nice drift off the road and into the lake. There's something else going on there. Just doesn't make sense.
ColinA common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.
