Its good to see people taking care of the veterans and current members.
Outback is also doing free blooming onions and Mikes car wash is doing free tire shine with any wash. ( i know i know, but still, its the thought that counts )

I agree with you on that.

I work with a Marine and he's a good kid and great for back up here at the ol' lockup, thats for sure!

Thanks to Joe and the rest of you for serving our country.

A broken femur in high school prevented me from serving in our armed forces.

It's too bad that the private industry seems to take care of our vets more than our government.

Although, something passed that Jeremy (my co-worker) told me about that he may go to school on the Gov's dime. I told him that any person that served in our armed forces should go to college on their dime, the money they would recover in taxes from kids getting a degree and getting a good job would more than cover the cost as not everyone would go to college. Another Army buddy (co-worker) says that for every dollar spent for school for a vet, they would get 7 dollars back! Do the math Government!

These may all seem like just small tokens of appreciation for a group of people who deserve so much more, but it is cool that more companies are doing this sort of thing more and more.

I'm working on Veterens Day so I don't think I can make it out to Applebee's.
I think what companies do for us is outstanding and I greatly appreciate it. Although I don't usually take them up on their offers because I don't feel right getting freebies and what not, while real people in need continue to struggle in life. I dunno, maybe it's just me but without a shadow of doubt I'm extremely greatful for the support they give us.
