The same people houses have them looking in good condition..nicely painted walls,no broken clumps of plaster.Nice gardens etc.
And yet in their driveways sit dirty cars?

    The mind boggles?
Well as Michael Stoops said it, it is simply lack of knowledge

A large amount of people are not "do it yourself" kinds of people, and if they don't know something they don't bother either trying to know.

Most of them also just don't care. They look at their care as a depreciating purchase that wears out over time. And they're correct, but it can be prevented or the wear and tear lessened.

Either way, it's job security for most of you lol

      Re: Car Looks

New Alert ! I actually saw someone on my block wash his car ( and I've lived here for only 20 years now ! ) ... anyhow I noticed he was using Megs Gold so I approached him and told him that was a good soap he was using ... turns out it was was a container of Megs Gold but filled with dishwasher soap ! ARGH! I wanted to beat him over the head with the container ... anyhow I just let him be and went back to my car and sprayed some UQD on my truck ... I totally agree with you guys on people buying expensive cars but dont take the time to maintain them . Go figure .

          Re: Car Looks

Two weeks ago I washed my truck and my wife's minivan. It was a nice day for washing, and by the end of the day everyone living on out cul de sac had washed at least one of their cars. It was pretty funny to see every one out washing their cars.

You have been biten by the bug. We all have. In my house even the wife and our 2 daughters are always commenting on the condition of other peoples cars. I think it is funny. But If the grand kids start, I really created monsters. lol

Best thing said yet! Unless you have something classic which increases it's value.Still,it's no excuse to leave it in a mess.
