  • Little Bits 'n' Pieces of Memorabilia.

I was going to post this in 'Blast from the Past',but I noticed it is for Meg's products only.

Do any members out there remember these freebies from the Esso gas stations 30+ years ago:

This was past on to me by my granny.I'd be lost without it!

The 'Esso' print under the clear plastic is a bit faded, but is otherwise in fairly good condition.

Any others out there like to share some pics of there own?

What kind of pics are you wanting in this thread, Eddie? Just pictures of old stuff? 'Cause if that's the case then I've got some old stuff I can take pics of and post on here. That would be kinda cool!

Hi CieraSL,yeah anything. I suppose connected to automobiles? I've got some good stuff that's not connected with auto's,but the page might turn into an antiques roadshow.

P.S. one of my favourites is a plastic model of the original Godzilla from 1978. I assembled and painted it when i was a kid and it still sits on my desk..It says underneath...

Well, I've got this. It's kind of old, and it's car related.

Hi C,I actually hit that thread a week or so ago.The can is in really good condition. So it's worth holding onto!

I used to use turtle wax years ago,and was very popular when I was a kid.I remember helping my dad with a tub(like a shoe polish tin) with paste wax.You had to work really hard with that stuff! It's funny hearing about others being tired out using scratchx by hand. They should've tried that stuff!

Is it still a popular brand in the states?
