  • Short novel on Megs

I have been on the MOL site for a few months, i have read priceless info from all of you, and still get excited when i click the "new posts" button 20 times a day at work. But it had me thinking, not even 10 years ago you couldn't just hop on this fourm and ask any question, specific or not. Also, cars seems to be much more plasitc than in the past. I was lucky enough to remember what it was like to do a report in school using a encyclopedia or going to the library. How have you seen detailing change for you over the years? It seems products have made a huge jump over a short period of time as far as effectiveness goes and all the research put into them.

    Also

I have been seeking out additional trainning and offered weekend/ Partime help all over, but it seems like EVERYONE has slowed down their buisness around here. So for now i just treat my truck and any family/friends like its the only one made, do my best and troubleshoot to get the best results, i know there is alway going to be room to learn, but it seems like im stuck between doing this as a hobby and making this my life. I am only 23, i have a decent job, but when i work with cars, time passes and i continue to love and take pride in what im doing. So if anyone made it this far, maybe send me an inspiring PM or post, what did you do over the years to make it your life, sorry for this jumbled mess of a thread. Thanks again everyone on here for your great support.

I'm the same, I'm at work waiting for a call, or even when the call is slow, and hitting that "New Posts" button...

Nothing worse than the "New Post Letdown". You click the NP link and get that pop-up box that tells you no new posts are available, and includes a link to view posts from the past 24 hours...

Leaving behind a lasting impression on every detail you do is cool, it's like an artist signing his painting.
Be patient, this down economy will make a turn around one day and you will get to use all those little tricks you have learned while times are slow.

If your really wanting to find new problems to solve, try hitting up your local used car dealer, you never know what they will throw at you or what you can learn....
