  • Buffing cart...

Trying to build a buffer friendly buffer cart. Something that I can drag along with me all around the vehicle. All tools plugged in and ready to use. That way, when I need a 3" machine, it's set up and ready to go. DA, set up and ready to go. You get the idea. I also wanted lights on it. Halogen is the proven choice, so I went with a small set a halogens. These are the ones that come on a stand. I just removed them from their mounts, and attached them to the angle iron.

Still not completely finished with it yet. Would like to have all 4 wheel swivel instead of just 2. Will work on that later. Pads and product go underneath. Well, you get the idea

nice idea, looks like a nice invention, should save you some time during a detail since you have all the machines ready to go.

Great idea. That makes a lot of sense. Way to go.

I'm jealous. I see a Flex and G110 on the cart in the middle. What are the other two on the outside? The one to the far left looks like a Makita??

Nice idea with the cart. Are all the cords for each tool long enough to work with being directly plugged in to the cart or would you need extension cords on each tool as well?

To me (from left to right) it looks like the Metabo, Megs G110, the Flex & the Makita Rotary.

Very, very cool and very smart idea Nick. That could easily save an hour or more of wasted time over the course of a full detail.

Looks awesome. Very great idea as well. I was thinking about how to make cable tangling and what not more manageable and this sums it all up. Great idea.

                          Okay, version 3.2.2
It's a little primitive, but fully functional. Have lights high and low, all my tools, pads and product, all with me all the way around the car, all the time. I'm going to work on that top light a bit, but for now it'll do. I don't have time to mess with it anymore.......DINNER TIME!!!!

Holy cow!!! And it's a built in heater! Area about 10' around it goes up about 20* when you light them all up

                              Hey Nick,

Neat idea. Things must be rather slow up Dallas way.
