I just placed an order for some supplies and noticed I was charged sales tax. I though the wherehouse was located back in the midwestern US. Are they back in California?

Meguiar's warehouse is located in Portland, Tennessee.
I don't know much about shipping rules, but I can have someone that does looking into this. I'll guess that while the warehouse is somewhere else, the California Government still wants a little piece of the action.

Typically you'll be charged sales tax if you live in a state where Meguiar's has a physical presence -- such as their headquarters in California (or their mfg facility in Tennessee).Comment
