I thought that might have been you. Do you just have Bassani mufflers or any sort of system? Bassani is one of the top ones for the Mustang.

LOL, mine was a present to myself! I should have it paid off this year, hopefully sooner if I can get a job again (still jobless, using taxes to make my payment this month)!

I just have the Bassani after cat system. it is all bolt on which is the great part about Bassani. I did some research on my exhaust and I was looking through the mile high paper work of reciets that was in this Machs file, I found the reciet to the exhaust and it costed the previous owner 700 dollars for the exhaust, My jaw dropped, because I would never spend that much for exhaust. Bassani is loud but I like the sound of SLP, SLP I have noticed it has more tone. same here about the payments, I have to use my savings this month, I only worked two days this month because of the weather. I went to Folsom Lake Ford to see if they were hiring but its a no for now until spring or summer.

        Savings? What are savings? LOL

When you're ready for that exhaust, let me know. I know a couple of people who sell SLP and I will see if I can get you a deal on it.

miahjohn- that will be a change for sure. I listened to the clip and noticed it is a Mustang. You may try finding actual Magnum clips as it will sound different. Mustangs (modular Ford engines) usually have a distinct exhaust note to them. Either way, I'm sure it will sound great! The new 5.7s sound great with an exhaust system on them.
I found a bunch on youtube. i listen to them at least once a week! my 3 year old loves the sound too. I need to figure out how to make it my ringtone on the cell.

Sorry about that, I meant my bank savings. yeah basically I am living off that until I can work again. If I ever can I will get SLP, if I did it I would not tell my dad though, he is against me switching it out but I will probably do it with out telling him, I looked up SLP online and they where 145 bucks per muffler for the loud mouth system. thanks Tyler I will let you know when I can get that system.

Tyler sounds great! I've been thinking about changing out my mufflers to, just can't decide which way to go. The Impala sounds pretty good now.

I knew what you were talking about, lol. I just haven't had any for some time now! I take it you are looking to just get the mufflers then and not the cat-back? I'm not sure if the ppl I know sell just the mufflers...

Thanks! You may try to find a site with exhaust clips. I know we have mustangexhaust.com or something like that. If you do decide to change them, depending on the brand, I may know someone that can help you out with pricing.

I would keep the bassani mufflers with the SLP's, simply because, some people end up not liking the loudness (drone) of the SLP's.

you really cant put a bad exhaust on a mustang just by putting any cat-back and muffler combo sounds great. The 4.6 mod motors sound good they have that hollow sound that's awsome sounding. A friend has a mach 1 with long tubes and a catless x pipe with flowmasters dumped in front of the rear axle for a 4v mod motor sounds just as good as my lt1 camaro with the cutout open!!
