    Re: Which Steam Cleaner?

    Dave,

I noticed two versions of the "Little Green". One is the "regular" http://www.canadiantire.ca/browse/pr...romSearch=true

while the other is called the "pro-heat" http://www.sears.ca/gp/product/B000T...e&mqnodeid=APS. Is that the ONLY difference? One heats and one doesn't?

As far as I know, the only difference is on is heated & the other is not. My wife got ours at Wally World and the heated one was the only one they had at that time.

Do you think it is worth the extra $40?

Oh... just saw a second difference. The "pro-heat" model has the "rotating turbo brush" as well.

          Is it effective?

The turbo brush I do not use to much, I usually take the regular brush and scrub with it. If you put a lot of pressure on the turbo brush it seems to bog down. Maybe I don't need to put so mush pressure on it. As for the heat, if you use hot water to start with I am not sure it will make much difference. I would probably save my $40 there and spend it on Meguiar's products. We got the heated one because my wife needed one to clean some spots on her Mom's carpet before she sold her house, and that was the only one Wal-mart had.
