I have a great customer that has an '07 white Shelby who really likes Zymol products. We met for a dinner with our respective upper level guys recently and he was talking about how smooth his car was as we were walking into the restaurant. I checked out his car. It was kinda bumpy and I found some swirls so I encouraged him to walk over to my company issued '08 Light Sandstone Metallic 300 and check it out. Just a few days before I had used 62, consumer clay, 80, 2 coats of NXT 1.0 and a splash of M135 (yes and all coats were applied at least 12 hrs apart
). I also did half of my trunk using another company's professional product that is supposed to be like NXT 2.0 but has an anti-stat additive so it is not supposed to bead (more on this one after I've had some time to see it through some rain and a wash). Anyway, all my customer said was that's nice and had this uh oh quizzical type funny look on his face. Fast forward an hour and a few bottles of wine later (none for me since I was driving) and my customer who is sitting across an 8ft table from me just stops the conversation and says, "Hey that car was really smooth, now tell me exactly what you used on it?" This led to a discussion about clay and Meguiars products so I now have at least a few converts. He's a great guy so I'll have to tap into my stash of gallons and surprise him with some samples.
