    How many people showed up?

    Even more important: Any leftovers?

Paul, Mario & his girlfriend, a buddy [Dave] that I act with & his wife, a friend [Tony], & my wife & I. Had a lot of fun & made soem new friends. Took Dave, Mario, & Paul out in the Cobra for some individual runs on the 10. Watched some DVD's of transferred film footage of Riverside Raceway from 1963 & 1965 while we chatted. Will probably do another one of these when I have my four-post lift installed.

        Thank you, Steve!

I had a great time. Nothin' like spending a day hanging out in a garage with cool cars and good friends. Maybe next time we'll even wax something.

You welcome! But THANK YOU! We had a great time and I can't wait 'till you get that "other" car, what is it called again? We'll be out there again. Oh yea, thanks for the movie! It's so cool to see those cars racing. And don't forget to goto the Riverside Raceway Museum. Here's the link: http://www.riversideinternationalraceway.com/

Re: Paul, mario - thanks for making to the bbq

Glad you had a good time. I just signed up for this SATURDAY CLASS if they still have it so I'll be driving the COBRA down.

That GREEN HELMET movie has some race cars for mthe late 50's in it.

That other car I'm getting is called a GTM. Produced by FACTORY FIVE RACING. They are going to ship the Black one I showed you so I can do some movie work with it for PR purposes. Its a really great car to drive. Should be fun. I'll invite everyone up again when it gets here [not a timetable on that yet].
When we decided on having it out here I told KAY [wife] that "I have good news & better news." "The good news is that FFR is shipping a GTM out & the better news is that your computer desk in the garage will have to leave to make sure the GTM fits."

I'm looking forward to meeting MIKE PHILLIPS & MIKE PENNINGTON & the others at class. They are going to let us all know by WED if class is going to be held since their isn't a whole bunchs of peoples signed up yet. Its the PONTIAC CLUB that is there this SAT.
If PAUL's avialable I'll be picking him up at his place & driving down for class. Give me a chance to put a few more miles on that new engine.

Hey, PAUL did your copy of THE MAKING OF LE MANS play alright.

That's great of you to have the BBQ! Sounds like you all had a good time.

Make sure to post some photos of the GTM when you get it. We drooled over it in this thread... Factory Five GTM Supercar

The photos in the thread you linked to is the black one they are sending out. Am very good friends with DAVE SMITH [FFR CEO] & one day out of the blue we discussed getting the GTM out here for movie stuff. My COBRA is already setup with my agent & a few casting companies so I will just add the GTM when it gets out here. Probably be some time later this year or the beginning of 09 before its out here. I'll prabably drive it down for one of the DETAILING CLASSES when it gets here.
