New top makes my mustang meaner!!

I love my stang and have been waiting to put a black top on forever. FINALLY it is done! Also have some new 2001 cobra wheels I picked up for $200 (had to replace one for another $100)

I'm stoaked. Please note the first image is still very dirty and ugly feeling from being in the shop for four days. It is also at night. Second image was post detail on a perfect sunny day... so paint quality may be off....

About to fix that today!!!!! 105 just came in yesterday!!!

Other changes include removal of side strips and smoked headlights.

The wheels and top look 100% better. Black top is a better contrast then the white.Larger wheels fill out the wheel wells a lot more and improve the stance.

That black top does give it a meaner look, and the Cobra rims are ssssweet! Way to go.

Thanks so much guys. its like driving a new car (in looks and handling).

Turns out my top turned out to be broken, and barely on. It took about 30 work hours to fix it, produce parts (they make them whatever they were), and apply the top. I purchased an EZ-on top, which really gave them difficulty... I suggest against them but it sure looks good now that it is on! End result is the roof no longer shakes and rattles loudly when driving over rough roads. Makes the car feel like I spent 1000 dollars on a suspension kit when all I did was add two inches to the wheels and fix the top!!!

I love it. Its a thrill to drive and smile every time I see it. Needless to say I'm going to spend all saturday detailing it....

I can't find a brinkman supplier ANYWHERE.... Best I've found is walmart had the 15 dollar models... but I want the good one!
