      What I need,

      Point and shoot
Small enough to fit in my pocket
Runs on common batteries(AA or AAA)
Takes killer pictures for the net-I want the clearest pictures I can have from a small point and shoot camera
Easy to figure out and use

Nick..after reading your original post I was thinking that I also would like a small point and shoot camera. Seeing that you bought a XSi and now have some learning to do to get up to the level of of your old camera I'm thinking 1. Is this easy to figure out 2. Must have a large pocket for this size camera.
I've had great 35mm cameras back in the day but want something now that can be set on automatic and I don't have to set f-stops or aperture. It needs to be able to be drawn from my pocket and shoot in variable lighting conditions within reason. So maybe the members that are into digital photography can pont me in the right direction.

As Mike P says : KISS... keep it simple , is what I looking for.

Originally, I did want a P&S pocket size camera. But the more I thought about it, the more I decided that better picture quality was more important. After all, people see pictures of the cars I do, that is advertisment. So, I decided to go for it
