Can't remember the cutoff for insurance purposes but call your insurance agent and see what ages you get discounts for, I think when I was 21 or 25 my insurance cut in half, long as you have no infractions...
At the time, they did not do it automatically as to get more $$ from you and with gas so nice and high may want to give them a jingle.
Worth a try or at least find out what the ages are for discounts
