It's been in the single digits at night and teens during the day for the last few weeks here. I'm going crazy looking at my cars and not being able to get out and clean them!

I finally broke down yesterday and went thru the auto car wash. It's better now but not up to Megs standards. Just had to vent.

I know what you mean! Someone borrowed my truck to haul sod in and they didn't have time to wash it. There's dirt down the side, dirty water spots on the glass, and sand in the bed. It's been too cold lately (47 degrees!) to wash it so I'm just going to have to wait until Wednesday when it gets up to 70 F to wash it.

It's great isn't it! Only good thing about it is, I'll be busy with my customers cars in a couple of months and that helps me with my detailing bug.

I too am looking forward to any temps over 20. This morning it was -9 with a windchill of -25. My black car looks more like a grey one at the moment!

It's was -7 this morning at my house in NEPA, windchill was somewhere in the area of -15. Tired of the cold weather, I would settle for 30 degree temps right now. I'm the Captain in my fire department and i'm getting tired of the cold weather accidents, let alone how dirty my vehicles have become. I have an unheated garage, I tried cleaning the windows on my wife's Envoy on saturday, my NXT glass cleaner froze on the window on contact! Hopefully will have heat and insulation for next winter.

My cars are covered with salt. I took one of mine to a "touch-less" car wash yesterday. It did not turn out too good.

The stinking salt also has a way of getting inside the vehicle. My mats are covered in salt along with snow and slush.

But the groundhog did not see his shadow

My kids school is already cancelled for tomorrow. Remember those days? I wish they would cancel work

You guys are lucky, we still have water bans in place. No at home washings, so its either dirty car, or local car wash.

I just hope that it gets over 15 degrees so I can run it thru a automatic. I know ,swirls, but Ill worry about that this summer . Now I want the car clean.
