  • My EVO

I guess my car is considered a tuner car. So far, it has a HKS exhaust and intake, and an HKS EVC boost controller on the way. But I still have a lot of things to put on to meet my goal: 350whp or about 400 hp.

I also have a lot of other little miscellaneous things, like a turbo timer, a evo badge, shorter antenna, etc...

Well, I just got the HKS boost controller installed(which lets me boost up to 23 psi) and let me tell you, this car is sooo fast now. This car can keep up with Ferraris now.

However, I am still far from my 400 hp goal.

Still running the stock clutch? The factory one is about worthless. Those are great cars! We took one accross the country and back and hit a few tracks along the way. For the price, there's not really anything that can outperform it.

Nice looking evo. That sounds like it is quite quick. For a appearence demodification, I would loose the front plate. One it looks bad, two it looks bad. It is a beautifial car and that seems to de a real appearance drainer.

                          Thanks for the comments.

Initially I didn't have the front license plate because it does look bad. But I got pulled over twice, one for no front license plate and one for exhaust, so I decided to put them on. But it still looks ok.

                            Dang twice,
I my car has been running for 8 years without a single incident ( knock on wood). I Guess when I get pulled over they have better reasons than no front plate. Anyhow, that is a good looking EVO and with that kind of horsepower I bet that thing flys. Hows the torque on it? Nice choice on the color

Yea, the evo seems to be a real eye-catcher for the cops. The torque is fine, but I could always use more . As a matter of fact, I'm about to install a grounding kit, which will add a couple of hp and torque. In a couple of years, I'm gonna add a bigger turbo, aftermarket downpipe, intercooler, and get it tuned by xs-engineering. Then, I might think of exterior mods.
