This is awsome, i may visit SoCal again soon just to see Crystal Cove. Hopefully during my winter break because SoCal doesn't even know what winter is! Does Crystal Cove, still run during the "winter"?

ATTENTION ALL CRYSTAL COVE ATTENDEES

My father, Larry Kordower, General Manager of the Ten Restaurant
Group (www.tenrestaurantgroup.com) has just announced that he be the
new host for the Saturday morning Crystal Cove meetings. The Ten
Restaurant group is located at 4647 MacArthur Boulevard Newport
Beach, CA 92660. This location is perfect because it has a huge
parking lot, and is located in an area with no residential
restrictions (meaning no hassle from the police or anyone, it is in a
business district). The parking lot is located two minutes away from
John Wayne Airport, off the corner of MacArthur and Campus drive.
Please send this out to as many people as you can. If anyone
organizing the event has any questions, please feel free to call my
father, Larry Kordower at (949)-290-9466 (cell). This will go into
effect starting Saturday, October 21st at 7:00 A.M., and will be a
weekly event with no ending time (stay as long as you want). Pass it
on!

The Irvine company is dumb for doing this. Think about all the lost business. I bet Starbucks is pissed. I'll be there the 14th after I go to Donut Derelicts. I like DD's a lot more, better crowd and the people actually know stuff about their cars.

CC should move to Fashion Island or something.

Fear not, for rumors abound that it will rise again in a location not too far removed from Crystal Cove. Apparently the group has a "friend" with a wee bit of pull. Time will tell.

As most of you might know, Oct 14th is the LAST Crystal Cove car show. So let's send it off in style!

I propose meeting at the Car Show at 7AM. Leaving for Breakfast at 8AM SHARP. ( So they can seat us as a group.)

Breakfast stop is at the Beachcomber -- a brand new, "toes in the sand" place, across from the car show!

This is one of OC's hidden gems!

Beachcomber Café is located right on the beach and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner inside or outside on the deck. The Beachcomber is also licensed to serve alcohol and is expected to be a very popular spot during the day and evening.

Directions to Beachcomber. Turn right out of Crystal Cove shopping center. At the 1st light ( 1/2 mile) make a right at Los Trancos.

You will then be in the parking lot. Take the shuttle or walk down the hill through the tunnel under PCH!

Don't worry about the $10 parking fee. They will validate, if you spend more then $10 at breakfast.



You cannot get into the shopping center until 7AM SHARP. That is when they pick up the cones. Do not stage on PCH or you will get a ticket. It's funny to see everyone driving up and down PCH until they move the cones.

hmmm.. I see a perfect opportunity for Meguiar's to host the event on their property, and welcome a new group of enthuisiasts to their product line!

Great idea, unfortunately their property won't even begin to hold the number of cars that are at Crystal Cove.
