He He How About A Euro Muscle Car...

Do 322 Ponies and 354Ftlbs Torque in an unassuming four door count as a muscle car? Technically the engine did come from a larger/heavier car and it was shoehorned.

BTW I'm already itching to get the new body style Mustang with Cobra Motor and suspension. What a sweet looking car.

I think Lynn's and MBZ500E's cars both qualify!

We're in the more or less begaining stages of restoring a 73 Mach 1, I'll have to post pics tonight when I get home from work. As far as the Maro, I'll vote first gen, but I still like the Firebirds better (the 82 Firebird in the driveway might be influencing that ).....

I voted First Gen. Then again, I'm a little biased seeing as I own one...hopefully, we'll have a 5th Gen one day.

I am going to have to say MY favorite generation camaro is the 3rd gen 82-92. I know they weren't the fastest but they looked awesome. I am somebody that cares more about how the car looks than how fast it is. I love all f Bodys 67-02. Right now I have a 94' camaro and I also have a 77' S.E. Trans Am I am going to restore. My first car was a 78' Trans am my father and I restored Black with tan interior, unfortunantely I sold it But anyway, just thought I would share my opinion and expierences
Oh, and a 07' camaro or firebird would be great

There is supposed to be a new Camaro in '07 but no word about a Firebird. Looks like the Firebird is not coming back.

That's a shame that the firebird probably won't come back, because I love firebirds just as much if not more than camaros. If I could choose between a 98-02 camaro ss or a 98-02 WS6 my first choice would definately be a WS6. A black WS6 has been my dream car since I seen them at the pontiac dealer. That front end is so mean looking. But I guess I will have to settle with my 94 v6 camaro until I can afford a ws6.

I had an '01 black WS6. That's where my user name came from. I traded the WS6 last March on an Impulse Blue '04 GTO. The Pontiac dealer gave me an offer I couldn't refuse, way better than I expected. That was due in part to the excellent condition of my trade-in. I was not really planning on trading at the time. My saleswoman said, "come on in and take it for a test drive." I said OK. I should have known better.

When I went to the dealer to get my new car, everyone was looking at my WS6 trade-in and someone said, "I didn't know they still made these!" They couldn't believe it was 3 years old! Thanks to Meguiar's, it was by far the best looking car on the lot, better than any of the '04s! Black is still my favorite color. There is still nothing like a black car with a swirl free finish, polished with #81 and topped with MPPP or NXT Tech Wax.

I would have chosen a black GTO, but it was metallic and it's just not the same as non-metallic. I went with Impulse blue because it was different and I always did like blue, plus I could have the blue interior too. The GTO has the best interior I have seen in a GM car. I did not want the black interior that was required with the GTO. My WS6 was special ordered with the taupe (tan) interior. Black interiors are way too hot in the summer.

Performance-wise the GTO is on a par with the WS6 at least up to 80 MPH. It has better acceleration from a stop, while the WS6 probably has a better top end. It weighs more than the WS6 but it has more power too. It rides a lot better than the WS6 and handles just as well, if not better. But you just can't beat the aggressive look of the WS6, especially in black! Yes, I do miss my WS6, but I am very happy with my GTO too.

Man, you guys are making me drool all over my keyboard. Like I said before my all time favorite car. I don't have the finances to buy one right now. But hopefully in a year or two I will have one in my driveway

Figured I would post some pictures of my 77' special edition Trans Am project car. I will be starting the restoration sometime this winter. I know it doesn't look like much but in about 8-12 months she'll be a beauty. Only has 67000 miles on it and it is a y82 s.e. car. Anyway here are the pics

Final Picture is my first Trans am a 1978 that me and my father restored. I sold it last year and regret it everyday.
