As far as ls1tech, I like it parts of a car have their own forum, like drivetrain, engine, engine mgmt, tires wheels brakes & suspension, A/V systems.
Another thing that drives me CRAZY is newbs who come in and create threads on every little minor problem. They never know what they're talking about and all they need to do is SEARCH because there's almost always a thread about it already. Supraforums has a nice video for newbs that I enjoyed watching.
Sig size limits are great.
And "for sale" sections that have rules like must include: price, location, mileage, etc. It gets on my nerves when people don't include that stuff. It's even better when they include simple stuff in the title of the thread, instead of just "camaro for sale" or something that tells me absolutely nothing.
And an A/V forum is great to have where people can ONLY post pics of their rides or videos.
NEVER EVER let people post off-topic threads. Punish people for it. A little off-topic in an already created thread is alright though for me because it adds in some entertainment. Little flame wars are fine until they get out of hand, then lock the thread.Last edited by Overtaker; Aug 11, 2006, 08:20 PM.

We went a step further on our classifieds section at CHO. Sellers can post pictures of a vehicle or item they're selling to alleviate those "pics , please"posts that inevitably pop up. And I agree, an off topic subject in an inappropriate forum is kind of annoying ...owner: http://www.clubhioctane.com
