    Pretty neat. Not sure how it works. Any ideas? I'm sure there is a reasonable explanation. It's weird!

    There are only 9 different possible solutions for all two digit numbers:

    81, 72, 63, 54, 45, 36, 27, 18, 9 (notice the pattern). If you look at the symbols table, the symbol corresponding which each of those 9 numbers is the same each time (just changing each new game). Thus, no matter what outcome you get, it will show the symbol which corresponds with each of the 9 numbers.

      It's just mathematics.

      The number you end up with is always a multiple of 9. If you look at any of the symbols that are in the 9 times table, they are all the same.
