My daughter in law brought me a nice surprise. It's a wooden box about 10"x10"x10". Under the lid it says "Meguiars gold class limited edition 2000". Inside it contains a sponge, bottle of gold class car wash, bottle of endurance and a small sample bottle of endurance. Anyone know what this is? and how limited it is?

Blast from the past RDVT4ME. I managed that product when I did product marketing for Meguiars and I think I might be able to shed some light.
The box is one of a series of Christmas gift boxes Meguiar's did for Target from 1999 - 2003 (I think). We still do it each year, but I think this past year was actually a gift bag instead of a box. What you have is a limited edition gift box of about 70,000 (did I say limited?) we did that year exclusively for the Target chain.
That's it. There is really no other mystery to it. As I said, you can still buy the recurring gift pack at Target around Christmas, but the package has changed a bit.
Thanks,
Peter

I love those gift packs, cause you can always find them at Target on clearance right after Christmas. So I generally grab up a bunch of them for $5-10/ea (depends on how many are left and how long they have been on clearance) and offer them to friends as the year goes by as a Meguiar's starter pack for caring for their rides after I have spent a day helping them detail for the first time ever. In fact, I'll be passing a couple out today to a friend and my brother who are both coming over today to detail their trucks.----------------

ONE OF MY CHRISTMAS PRESENTS LAST YEAR WAS A "TARGET" GIFT CERTIFICATE. NOW I KNOW WHAT TO USE IT FOR. I WILL SAVE IT FOR THIS CHRISTMAS!!!
