Some of you may remember my thread from November about my run-in with some hot headed individuals. Since I got such a supportive reaction, I figured I'd update you guys on whats going on. I'm pretty much completely healed up. The rubber bands were removed from my mouth a few weeks back (although I still had to remain on a liquid/soft foods diet. This past Thursday they removed the arch bars in my mouth. These were metal pieces that looked sorta like braces that were put in my mouth to hold the rubber bands that held my mouth shut. These arch bars were connected to my mouth with metal wires that ran through my gums, in between my teeth. Having them removed was one of the more uncomfortable experiences of my life, but once they were off it was wonderful. Anyways, I have no more pain, except sometimes when I chew on something hard, and I'm basically back to normal. A police report was filed, but with the little info I had on these guys, it didn't really do any good. At this point, I don't care. i'm just glad its all over!
