winterizing my ride

With the holiday season in full swing I figured I really should get to winterizing my ride. Wouldn’t want to get caught unprepared when the brutal So Cal weather hits in full force.

We were heading off to relatives on Christmas Eve but I had time during the day so I set about getting the car prepped.

This is how the car looked, still in summer mode, when I backed it out of the garage.


So I removed the summer gear:


and replaced it with the winter kit:


There, all ready for the California winter.

SPF 8...must be as bad as they say in SoCal. Never spent any winter there, myself...you're brave indeed.

I hate you, in the most loving way possible. What a dirty joke! But I guess I can't complain too much, it's been in the upper 40s for the last week here out on Long Island!
