I went to a show yesterday put on by the local Rotary. Not a big show but all very nice cars. The El Camino took the award for Best Display, I'm not exactly sure what that is though. There were no real classes, just Best Hot Rod, Best Paint, Best Engine, Best Display, Oldest Car, Best Truck. Best 40's, Best 50's, and Best 60's, Best 70's (no 80's or 90's), and a couple of others I can't remember.
I took a few pictures and even caughht a few shots of our local car nut, Billy Joel, who comes to all the local shows and our Tuesday night Cruise Night every week.
By the way, the Model T in the photos is not original, it was built completely from parts available from JC Whitney and other sources!
