I use Meguiars NXT Wax on my clear coated wheels. The polymer waxes (NXT) I am told hold up better with the heat generated by the brakes. Leaves my wheels looking good!

I am now using NXT for waxing painted wheels. Before NXT was available I was using #20 Polymer Sealant.

I usually apply the wax about once a month. That way there is less build-up of surface dirt and almost no need to use a cleaner polish prior to waxing.
