Removing Speed Detailer Sprayer/Cap

How do you remove this cap. I had a small amount of product leftover that the tube could not reach or **** up and I wanted to pour it into a new second bottle of the speed detailer I have. I twisted and it just spins, then I took a pliers to it and finally broke it off and the neck cracked. Nice spray head but it doesn't seem to be able to be removed and the bottle or sprayer reused.

Any way to remove the sprayer cap without ruining it or the bottle ?

Push down on the spray head, squeeze the threaded portion of the cap and twist off.

Thanks for the reply Mike, however I can't squeeze the threaded clear cap because there is the light green plastic thingamajig over the top of it. The whole unit barely moves down also. It seems like your instruction will work for the spray wax, tech protectant type sprayer caps but not the speed detailer. Any other suggestions ??? or is it just me ???

I just went into the garage and twisted it off.

There is a type of slotted design that makes it difficult to turn in the counter clockwise direction, but it will turn.

They had to make the sprayer hard to get off so people don't drink it! The smell is too tempting.

Believe it or not, they had problems with that lemon scented dishwashing soap many years ago, was it Palmolive(sp)?
Some people were actually drinking it.
