My father passed away last November leaving his low mileage 2004 F150 Lariat to sit for 6 months exposed. Neither my sister or I wanted to sell it but neither of us really needed it either. After only running for 100 miles during those 6 months, I decided to take it home with me. I didn't have the proper brushes to get into all the crevices but was pretty impressed with the results after allowing hot rims to sit on the wheels for about a minute along with an aggressive swipe with a scrub brush.

Re: Hot Rims Results After 6 Months Exposed to Elements
First off, we are very sorry to hear of your father's passing.
We took the liberty of grabbing your images (Flikr won't allow embedding) because the result is quite impressive and we wanted everyone to see it without having to fumble through finding the images. For not having brushes to get into the tight spots, we'd say you did an outstanding job here!
