  • Ultimate compound vs. Scratchx

I have a 2010 black acura TSX. It has spider web scratches all over the vehicle. No deep scratches, all just spiraling from a light source that reflects off the paint. The car is pre-owned, and whatever detailing service they used left buff marks on the vehicle too. I am also working by hand. Which should I use? I'm planning to clay bar also but I'm unsure what to use to get the scratches out. Thanks!

    Most likely will need UC.

But hard to say how easy it will be by hand.

Yeah, I'd say UC by hand too (unless your paint is super soft, which you wont know until you do a test spot).

Doing the whole car by hand could be a mission though - good luck!

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.
