  • Get to Target before Gold Class car wash is gone!

I stocked of on Gold Class Shampoo/Conditioner yesterday at my local Target (San Diego). They had a huge end cap loaded with Gold Class and Closeout signs all over it. Their normal price is $8.99 (64 oz). The closeout price is $5.99. They told me they weren't going to stock it any more.

I tried that product and hated it...smelled horrible...like some sort of cheap soap. Yuck. I don't understand why it seems people like it so much. No thanks...$1 would be too much in my opinion.

This is unusual as this product has a loyal following among consumers & some pros alike.

I always recommend it to my clients who wash their own cars.

I saw the GC wash at Target a few days ago too, but since I had 2 new bottles (64oz) I passed....but that's a great price.

I just finished washing my car tonight with GC after reading this thread, though GC isn't my favorite Megs scent, I find it very pleasant.....I guess Blue Apollo is the 1% of people out there that don't like GC?

I'm just finishing up a gallon size of GC....can't seem to find GC in gallon sizes anymore

Check Costco. My local Costco has the gallon size 3 or 4 times a year. I checked there before I went to Target. I was told they were sold out (again) and they had no word when it would be shipped to them again.

It's a car wash soap, not juice. Many people including myself like this soap for it's conditioning oils and slickness; it is very smooth. I haven't used too many car wash soaps, but it's quite a bit slicker than armor all wash and wax, meg's wash and wax, and deep crystal car wash.

You may have had a defective bottle. Gold class is one of the best cleaners out their that Meguiars carries.

That's why I have 4 gallons now. I'd like to buy some more but at this point, I may have a hoarding problem LOL!

I'd like to help out other fellow members in MOL but shipping this thing will be expensive wiping out the savings.

I agree that it's okay in terms of a "soap" aspect...but it was just the smell that was so obtrusive that it made me not want to use it again.
