Hi All
Got a new Mini and the dealer said the car had the Xylon treatment on it (didn't pay for it). After about a month car looked like nothing was on it, so washed her good and applied Gold Class Liquid Wax with a orbital buffer. She shined very nicely. Afterwards, some one told me about NXT Gen Tech Wax 2. So, I applied two coats (14 days between) of the Tech Wax and the paint felt like glass and I could have used the car as mirror to shave.
However, I just noticed some other threads that state I should have done the reverse, put the Tech Wax on first. And, with all the positive reviews of the Ultimate Liquid wax, should I just somehow remove the layers of wax and start over? Not even sure how to do that...I want the MINI to have best shine possible, that lasts at least a couple of months between waxes.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
