They are both great products depending on the severity of the swirls. swirlX is more of a finishing product so it will leave a nice finish.2008 Mazda CX-9 (WIFE'S)

Ultimate Compound leave a great finish too. I use I for many one step jobs. Stick with the guns and just keep using ultimate compoundComment

It depends on the paint if its hard or soft, many times Ive just used ultimate compound and went right to LSP because it finished down so good so i didn't need to use any thing else to refine the finish.
But on soft paint the proses will be a little different you would want to use something a little milder.2008 Mazda CX-9 (WIFE'S)
