My 1999 volcano black audi's hood really needs to get rid of swirls.
I am not sure what approach to use to get rid of swirl marks, I get different information with every thread I read.
I believe it is best to use the least abrasive first to see if it can be done without using the heavier one which would be UC correct?
I watched a few videos so I know I want to do a test area first, and probably do 2 rounds of swirlx first to see if UC will be needed?
Also I am going to clay the hood first something I've never done so if u could tell me if this process would be correct please!
wash
dry with micro/terry cloths
use clay on contamination areas
use swirlx/uc on hood
use a polish
quick detailer to finish
