even coat applicators

hi everyone, my local wally world stopped carrying gold class foam applicators and replaced them with even coat applicators.when it gets warm enough, i plan on using my tech wax paste thats been sitting here. has anyone used this combo or the applicators at all? i hope these will not leave any small scratches like the terry applicators out there. any feed back appreciated.

Hi 95nissan,

The new Even Coat Applicators are very soft and gentle to the finish, by themselves they shouldn't scratch anything. Make sure you turn them over as you're using them to insure you haven't picked up any dirt particle as this will cause a scratch no matter what you use to apply a wax with.

Are those some kind of microfiber covered sponges? I have some of those and they work great. I like the GC pads also, but they are too small(fingers get tired) IMO, they work better with some QD on them as they tend to stick a little to the surface when you start waxing.

I've used them but haven't written my review yet. I gotta tell ya I love these applicators. The ergonomics are perfect. So good in fact that the applicators tease me with waxing by hand again. I have to restrain and wax with the PC still though. My point is they are well made and make apply wax/polish very easy.

Waxing with the yellow applicators was really waxing by finger pressure. At least how I held the yellow pads. The new even coat fits in my hand. I can use the pressure applied by my palm rather than pressure applied from my fingers. Maybe not a big deal but when I have to wax 2 a day or 4 over a weekend I need all the help I can get.

I've used the pads on a drk blue dodge ram with no signs of marring. The pads appear to utilize the same MF fabric as the Ultimate Wipe and Ultimate Bonnet . No scratching from those products.
