I have great results with NXT wax. I apply it so thin it is clear, looks like smudges on the surface. 30 minutes later it comes off sooo easy.
I have washed and dried my car, and just thrown a coat on for the heck of it, because it is so effortless for me.
My fav. applicator is the blue one with the black foam on the bottom, it has an easy grip shape to it. I sometimes drop the yellow ones when i do my doors. I go pretty fast. 10- 20 minutes i can wax the car.
I have a white and light blue metallic car. The white one is very nice looking, and the blue one has metallic flakes that jump out at me.
Both look incredible at nite under the lights.
BTW, did you detail your trim/ tires and glass too.
I used to get in a hurry to try out a new wax and skip the small details. When i was done it just seemed flat to me.
Now i do the trim/ tires and make the glass perfect before i evaluate the look of the wax.
