I bet it's still less then what you would pay in Australia, correct?

Are they including a container of Vaseline or some KY Jelly in the order?
thats ridiculous, I'd never pay that for shipping.

Yes I've got it mailed to Au.

This was one of my orders, paid $70 for shipping, and still saved about 50%.

It took about 5 working days to arrive at my door.

I'm not sure as to what was the weight of the parcel, but you can get an idea.

I've also noticed that the box the goods arrived in was twice the size of what was needed for the goods, so pretty big ..

    Hope this helps.

Last night I placed an order with AG for $US392. Thought I'd bite the bullet and stock up while our dollar is doing well.

I'll let you know what the weight and shipping charges are when I find out.

Have to agree - Australian prices for Megs products are out of control and have been rising at a phenomenal rate.

$50 for a tin of NXT at a time when the Australian dollar equals the US dollar! $90 for 32oz of M105 or M205. Its crazy.

Ok, if you haven't got the weight, then we can't compare.

They ask you to pay for the order first, then they provide you with shipping quote within 24 hours.
Yes that is the just same with PAC, but if it was only 24 hrs, then AG are a step ahead, which is the gripe I have with PAC.

I'm reluctant to change companies, if I don't know the freight charge. If you could reply to this thread the next time you order with the weight of your order, then we and others Aussies would know better for next time. It is kind of nice that AG offer a $20 voucher, but I'm more inclined to go with PAC's 10% off every order, because in my case that would always exceed 20 bucks and the 10% discount applies to each and every order.

You must be a Megs guy, if your order was all Megs stuff. I reckon you should look around some more.

Anyway that strikes off the rip off Megs guy in Australia. If we all do the same, then Megs US may get off their backside and pull their finger out and appoint a decent distributor here. It is not going to happen if you just bend over.

It was USPS, but that wasn't my choice. The packet's already gone to the bin, sorry.

They ask you to pay for the order first, then they provide you with shipping quote within 24 hours. If you are happy then you pay the shipping fee, if not they return the money back to your account, no Q's asked. Very efficient guys there for sure.

I was really looking for the weight of your order and who shipped it, like in UPS, FedEx or USPS. That's the only way to get an accurate reflection of the two different shipping costs, as in AG vs. PAC. You should find the weight on the Customs Declaration Dispatch Note.

Paid $70 for about 12 bottles of megs stuff such as UC, UQW, NXT 2.0, GC wax, ultimate protectant, medium cut cleaner and the like.

The parcel showed up in no time (about 4 days) and also received $20 voucher for my next purchase. Communication, packing and handling time-AWESOME!!!

Try them, I'm sure you won't regret.

    FRS,

That is good going on the M105, I paid a touch more from PAC.

So how was AutoGeek with the freight charges. How much and what weight was your order? Do they use USPS or someone else. Do they turn your order around quickly? That is where PAC slips up. Takes them about 3 days just to confirm the order and the shipping.

    Re: Meguiar's Price in Australia

    Thanks gmck,

I've just received another parcel from autogeek. These guys are fantastic in customer service and pricing. Highly recommended!!!

As for the prices, the #105 is $23.99 and the price in Australia is $89. How about that?!?! Nearly 400% price difference. Australian stealers won't see my $$ that's for sure.

I also suggest US Megs look for another distributor in Australia, who would be able to market and distribute their products in more appropriate way. (Their current distributors are somewhere in Silverwater). The old model of G220 (v1) is selling for $300 whilst the G110v2, the latest model is $149 and even less with discount/coupon in the US.

Something has to change about this soon ... sooner rather then latter.

    FRS,

Good move. Don't forget to tell Megs in Oz what you paid.

Since you were previously interested in leather, I'll pass this along. I was talking to the Leatherique people in Sydney and bought up the subject of their pricing. The woman I spoke to was quite receptive to the idea of dropping their pricing to be more in line with US pricing. Time will tell though, but if more people push them, it is more likely that it will happen.

They also offer a dying service, so even if your leather is shot in a particular area it can be restored. Just need to send them a small piece, so they can colour match it.
