Hi all,
I purchased a 2010 Toyota Tacoma truck about a month ago. In that time I have washed it once a week and waxed it a couple of times with Gold Class+ Liquid which has worked great.
I have also fallen in love with the Quick Interior Detailer for the inside of my cab. The ease of use, the confidence I can use it on everything I want in the cab from the gauges to the radio, to the dash and the doors and know it is gentle and safe, plus a smell so mild it doesn't trigger my Asthma is just seemingly the perfect product for me.
Finally, the question... My Tacoma has a rubber front bumper, and the Tacomas have a synthetic bed that is more less like a bedliner (some sort of black plastic) that covers from bed floor to flat textured bed rail covers for the lack of a better term. You know, the "lip" that goes over the top of the bed sides... Anyhow, I need a product that will protect the front rubber bumper and the parts of the bedliner that are not covered by the bed mat I purchased. I want something that will keep those parts looking black without white spots, without being too shiney, and somthing that won't streak when it gets rained on.
I had picked up natural shine and read that even though it was more/less an interior product some guys have had good luck on exterior, while some others complained of rain streaking. I read to put it on with a foam applicator and let it soak in for 5 minutes and then hand buff it out with a mf cloth for best results.
I have not opened it yet. Should I use it or exchange it for the ultimate or other Meguire's product?
TIA for helping a noob!
Eric
